David Hertog

Chief Marketing Officer

As Â鶹´«Ã½AV’s Chief Marketing Officer, David Hertog leads the company’s marketing and communications teams, the people responsible for telling the company’s story with clarity and impact. Before Â鶹´«Ã½AV, David served as Executive Vice President of Marketing at Rubicon Project. When Rubicon merged with Telaria in 2020, he oversaw the creation and rollout of the Â鶹´«Ã½AV brand globally.

Over the last decade and a half, David has held various lead marketing roles, including several in the advertising technology space. He served as Operating Partner at venture firm Arrowroot Capital, led product marketing for Google’s publisher ad exchange and ad server, ran marketing at sell-side platform Admeld (which was bought by Google), and was the top marketer at Metamarkets (which was bought by Snap).

David holds an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business and a BA from Tufts University. He lives with his wife and two children in Los Angeles.
